During these sessions, interns will get the opportunity to see other schools, engage in professional development sessions that address key competencies of school leadership (self awareness, vision setting, adult leadership, etc.), build awareness of various training programs, develop their capstone project, and network with their fellowship cohort and group of mentors. In addition to the onsite training and professional development series, each fellow will also engage in 2 one-on-one meetings with the Director of Alumni Affairs for individual career counseling and leadership development (1x after Values/Vision session and 1x at the end of the fellowship).
